In my open art studio, Artsi Creative Space, I hold Abstract Expressionism workshops where we discuss the history of the movement along with examples of artists from the era.

The idea of Abstract Expressionism was born of a departure from realism, impressionism, and subject oriented abstraction. The artists created work to express an individual's emotional state, or to invoke an emotion in the viewers.

Many of today's abstract artists' work fall under Abstract Expressionism.

Rather than my usual expression of emotions, I painted these as a way to process the chaos of the world today (in 2026).
