I had the honor to create this commission for a new restaurant coming soon to the Brewery District in Tacoma.
They’re keeping themselves busy and quiet for now.

I first met the family during one of my Paint Alongs at Artsi Creative Space. Previous final Paint Alongs hung in the front windows. They bought three. At the end of class we chatted for some time about their new restaurant coming in Downtown Tacoma. Their concept is interesting and fun.
One of my larger, in-progress, paintings sat on my easel. As we spoke I explained my background, my process, and my love for making art. They liked my work and one of the paintings they bought enough to ask for a commission.

It was so much fun to take on this challenge. I am thankful for their trust in me and my work.
